Office Business Gateway solutions can be distributed as every other Rich Client solution and can be provided server-based without dispense of the Rich Clients advantages. This works similar to web-based solutions – through “download on demand” in combination with local caching of the solutions logic, which avoids additional unnecessary downloads.

Updates of the solution can – again similar to web-based solutions – be deployed on the server and are automatically distributed to the clients. There is no need to install the solution on the client directly, which means extensions, adjustments, situation- or user-based user interfaces are executable on the client without new deployment to the client.
