Ergonomic Work
The volume of data - files, applications, documents or forms - is growing steadily. Typically this forces administrative employees to search for relevant information in multiple systems - a time-consuming effort. Instead, Combionic allows users to work ergonomically. With Combionic software administrative employees access any information stored in any backend system or specialized application directly from their common user environment in Microsoft® Office. Additionally users avoid „media disruption”, the typical, time-consuming "toggling" between Microsoft® Office applications, where users generally spend most time, and professional applications, where the majority of the structured enterprise information resides.

In the pilot project of the state of Hesse the enormous increase in productivity caused through the use of the Office Business Gateways has been proven by the Fraunhofer Institute, who accompanied the project. The analyzed process "Sunday work permit" is a typical administrative procedure with several people involved in different locations. The implementation was supported by our Partners Accenture and Microsoft.
The redesigned process put the user at the center of the process, using Microsoft® Office extended with Combionic's Office Business Gateway. The entire process now only involves nine, significantly shorter steps. The net passing time has been reduced by two-thirds and the quality (through the validity of data) has improved at the same time. Response time has been significantly reduced, because much of the previous routine work is no longer required.
