Showcase: Cloud enabled File & Record Transfer solution

One example for the successful use of Cloud services is the common Showcase from Microsoft® and Combionic. The scenario shows the relocation of a companies registered headquarters from one city to another. As a result, all documents filed in the commercial register also need to be relocated. Previously, most documents had to be retrieved manually and entered in the registers of the new authority responsible for the company – a process involving several steps and physical transport. Thanks to cloud services, this can now be accomplished in a single step with both authorities exchanging  data via a cloud service with significant savings in operating costs and processing time.

What makes this concept so special is the realisation of different security levels due to the distinct seperation of the process and the exchanging information, documents and data. Workflows with ordinary, encrypted user data can be processed in the Public Cloud (Azure™), sensitive data (such as documents) can be transferred within a private cloud environment. Therefore a multi-level security concept can be realised depending on individual requirements.
